Over the past several weeks, I have had the professionals from Sanders Home Builders in my home completing major restoration work resulting from two unfortunate water damage incidents one on the lower level of my home and the second in my kitchen. I could not be more pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of all craftsmen, office staff and the designer involved in the projects. The Contract Manager, Bill Abrams, is an exceptional individual. His oversight of the various restoration tasks assured that all work was completed at the highest standards. His crew and craftsmen were as skillful as any I have ever seen.I received a telephone call every morning from the Sanders office staff informing me that the Technicians were on the way to my house, allowing me time to prepare for their arrival. The workday started daily at 8:00 am. At the end of the day, the Technicians photographed their completed work and cleaned up the work area. At the end of the project, the Contract Manager had his wife make me a old school” Banana Pudding. She also shared her homemade recipe for Ice Tea!As a single homeowner, Bill Abrams showed me every courtesy, offered me suggestions when needed, and assured that I was satisfied with every aspect of their work. We recently bought a house and needed to replace the HVAC system. We got a few estimates and ended up going with Sanders, primarily because of their attention to detail and thinking through what was going to be the best for a replacement system. Many HVAC companies just want to come in and replace whatever you have with a new version of the same thing without considering proper sizing, ducting, etc. Rich and Bill from Sanders took a lot of time to think through the best way to do things and answer all our questions. Sanders was the most expensive of the estimates, because the scope of work they proposed to do was larger than the other companies (there were issues with our current ducting due to a remodel by a prior owner), but we still went with them because of their thoroughness.When it came time to do the work the team lead by John did a great job, and the finished product looks great and is working well. We were at work most of the time the work was being done, so we didn’t have a lot of interactions with the team doing the work, but all the interactions we did have were positive and we’d be happy to have them working in our house again should the need arise.The job was just done a few weeks ago, so we haven’t yet had the inspections, and haven’t had long enough with it yet to see how it works in all seasons and how it affects energy usage (we went from a traditional system to a hybrid heat pump/furnace).
